Hermit Thrush
(Catharus guttatus)
The only winter thrush in Kentucky.
Identified by grey-brown back and distinctly reddish tail. The summer Wood Thrush has a reddish head and back, with bolder chest spots.
Uncommon forest resident.
In the park, check roadsides and woodland trails.
