A common summer breeding bird of mature forests.

Sexes similar. Birds frequently feed near the ground and sing from ten- to twenty-foot perches.

May be found by locating their high, trilling calls.

Found in the park below the Historic Entrance, on Flint Ridge Road, and on mature forest trails.
