Orange-Crowned Warbler
(Leiothlypis celata)

Picture

An uncommon spring and fall migrant in our area. Drab, but can be identified by its consistently yellow undertail coverts.

Prefers mid-sized trees and saplings.

Bird locations cannot be easily predicted during migration. Maple Springs area, edges of the visitor center clearing,  and Flint Ridge Rd all have good habitat.
