​A common spring and occasional fall migrant. Most easily found in late April and early May.

Prefers edge trees and those in clearings...not found in mature forests.

In Mammoth Cave N.P., check the Maple Springs area, Flint Ridge Rd near the Horse Cave Baptist Church, and the lower end of the bike trail.
