Cerulean Warbler
(Setophaga cerulea)

Picture

Uncommon forest canopy summer residents. Best found by learning to differentiate their songs from those of the similar-sounding Northern Parula Warblers.

Best found in Mammoth Cave N.P. in the Green River  bottom; listen for Ceruleans at the Echo River parking lot and at the base of the River Styx Trail. Also, Cerulean Warblers may nest
at the Dennison Ferry Day Use Area, and near the overlook on the at Turnhole Bend Nature Trail.
