(Catharus fuscescens)
An uncommon spring and fall migrant. Our only thrush with uniformly reddish head, back, and tail.
Found in deep woods in early May and mid-September.
In Mammoth Cave N.P., check Flint Ridge Rd near the visitor center and the northern, unpaved portion of the Maple Springs Loop.
