​Very common summer breeding bird in Kentucky.

Prefers feeding at middle heights, calling quietly and steadily.

Found throughout Mammoth Cave N.P. Check the edges of the visitor center clearing, the Heritage Trail, and the picnic area on the north side of the parking lot.
