Acadian Flycatcher
(Empidonax virescens)
Very common forest resident during breeding season. Our only summer Empidonax species; others are present during migration periods.
Perches in mid-canopy; excellent camouflage makes it tough to spot. Best detected by its non-musical call.
Easily found in any mature forest in the park in summer.
