Yellow-billed Cuckoo
(Coccyzus americanus)

Common breeding bird, present from late April through September. Individuals linger later into the fall.

Rufous wing color and yellow bill separate this from the uncommon spring/fall migrant, black-billed cuckoo.

Found in park woodlands. Secretive, best located by voice. Most active in spring.
