Chestnut-sided Warbler
(Setophaga pensylvanica)

​A common spring and fall migrant in our area. 

Spring and fall plumages are distinctly different. Note the green back, distinct eyering, and bright yellow wingbars on fall birds.

Prefers open woods and forest edges.
