This species is a common summer breeder. It's treetop canopy home may make it difficult to see.
Separated from the common Summer Tanager by its black wings and tail.
Scarlet Tanagers can be found in any woodland habitat in the park. Check the edges of the visitor center clearing, the Heritage Trail, and the campgrounds. Birds are best found by learning their songs.
