Indigo Bunting

The most common breeding bird in Kentucky, although few are found in the park.
Prefers open country and field edges. Easily found during spring and summer outside the park's woodland habitat.
Can occasionally be found near the Sunset Lodge in the visitor center clearing; also near the Maple Springs area and near the bike trail in the grassland area near Diamond Caverns area.
